Flying Bird Botanicals' Story:
At Flying Bird Botanicals we are driven by our love of plants, herbalism and enjoying a delicious cup. We love the simple ritual of making tea, providing a moment of peaceful solitude or a chance to share in the simple luxury that is a good cup of tea and a friend.
We are passionate about crafting artisan teas that are both delicious and nourishing. We understand that at the heart of what makes this possible is our regions amazing organic farmers and organic farmers around the world. Our teas are always made with only organically farmed and ethically wildcrafted herbs looking first to our local community for sourcing.
At home in the Pacific Northwest and across the country, we work with over a dozen farms to source the highest quality, freshest herbs available. We are proud to support our farmers here in the USA and work hard to build meaningful relationships ensuring a stronger community and a delicious cup for all of us.
Our overseas purchases are made with our global community at heart. We source our spices from fair trade certified farms and our teas from small gardens and cooperatives, growing their tea plants with care, using heirloom traditions passed down through generations. Our state of the art bagging technique, biodegradable teabags and beautiful packaging reflect the care and attention to detail that goes into the creation of our teas. Original hand drawn illustrations printed on textured paper wrap our air tight recycled steel tins that are made here in the USA.
Inspired by ancient herbal wisdom, our original tea blends are crafted to offer comfort and efficacy with every nourishing sip. Always choosing quality and community: including people and planet, over profit, we strive to contribute to the beauty in the world we share not only through our delicious and nourishing creations but through the relationships we make with the people around us.
We are so grateful for the plants, our organic farmers and for all of you who support what we do. We invite you to share a cup, support local farmers and be a part of the newest innovation in tea all while enjoying one of the world’s most ancient rituals.
