We hold ourselves accountable by measuring our social and environmental impact, and we're always seeking to learn how we can do better. Here's a little more about what we do today:
We are committed to making our business a source for good.
WE MAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT TO SOURCE FROM A DIVERSE POPULATION OF MAKERS, ELEVATE UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF OUR EARTH.
We live out our commitment to diversity by sourcing exclusively from underrepresented makers and minority-owned businesses. We work to elevate and honor our female, BIPOC, AAPI and LGBTQ+ makers, featuring each of their unique stories on our platform and in our gifts.
We also seek to partner with makers in diverse industries and from diverse locals – we source goods from all over North America, from Austin, TX to Vancouver, BC.
We work to create a culture of inclusion and foster a sense of belonging among our team and within our supplier and client relationships.
We operate with a human-first mentality and know that in order to be successful in business, we first need to feel seen, recognized, accepted, respected, and celebrated as humans.
We aim to utilize environmentally conscious practices in every aspect of our business, from our product to our operations.
We source responsibly and seek makers who value sustainability in their own production and operations. We show preference for goods made with recycled materials and our packaging is 100% recyclable.
In our operations, we work to eliminate waste, decrease the pollution we do cause, and increase our use of recycled materials.
We hold ourselves accountable for our carbon footprint by reducing carbon emissions wherever possible and offsetting carbon emissions where necessary. We purchase carbon offsets for our business operations via Terrapass and encourage our customers to make their purchase carbon neutral.
